Hi, I'm Liz — The Project Skills Mentor

I was born and raised in California. I started work in "Silicon Valley" in the biotech industry, managing accounting and systems. There, I learned how to go beyond managing a department; instead, I focused on forming and inspiring teams.

Coming to Europe was a happy accident. I was meant to go for 2 weeks, and it has been 20+ years now.

I have learned so much along the way. I have worked in 35 countries and discovered that teamwork and projects can mean slightly different things in different situations and cultures.

I’ve worked with Fortune 500 companies around the world. And I’ve led teams as an Executive Sponsor, a Program Manager, and a Project Manager for years. Now, I want to share my knowledge with you. And I want to provide a platform for you to grow your skills. So please share your experiences and ask questions.

I believe in the power of project skills to help in work and in life. These skills can make you more organized, more prepared, and more confident.

I've had the privilege to work with some fantastic colleagues and teams. The best of these were project teams dedicated to continuous learning and improvement. That is when you start to go beyond: a team of bright and motivated people is terrific. But the ideas and skills of all of us working 'in the flow'? It is alchemy.
